ITINERARY

  • DAY 1
Cusco to Santa Rosa: Discovering the Andean Wonders through Capuliyoc
  • Pick-Up Time:

    • Between 4:00 to 4:30 am, our team will collect you from your hotel in Cusco.
    • Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive from Cusco to the Mirador Capuliyoc

  • Arrival at Capuliyoc

    • Reach the Capuliyoc viewpoint, where you'll be greeted with stunning views
    • Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Capuliyoc to fuel up for the trek.

  • Trek to Chikiska

    • Begin the 3-hour downhill trek towards the village of Chikiska.

  • Lunch at Chikiska:

    • Refuel with a delicious lunch in the quaint village of Chikiska.

  • Descent to Rosalinas Beach:

    • Continue the descent for another hour to reach Rosalinas Beach, located by the Apurimac River.
    • Cross the Apurimac River, officially entering Cusco territory.
    • Embark on a challenging 1.5 to 2-hour uphill trek towards Santa Rosa camp

Santa Rosa to Marampata: Unveiling the Mysteries of Choquequirao
  • Early Morning Ascent:

    • Rise early and start the day with a 1.5 to 2-hour uphill trek from Santa Rosa to Marampata.

  • Breakfast in Marampata:

    • Arrive in the picturesque village of Marampata and enjoy a well-deserved breakfast.

  • Continue Trekking:

    • After refueling, continue trekking for another 1.5 hours towards the awe-inspiring Choquequirao ruin

  • Explore Choquequirao:

    • Spend the day exploring the archaeological site of Choquequirao and unraveling its mysteries.

  • Box Lunch:

    • Enjoy a convenient box lunch during your visit to Choquequirao, providing you with sustenance throughout the day.

  • Pick-Up Time:

    • Between 4:00 to 4:30 am, our team will collect you from your hotel in Cusco.

  • Return to Marampata

    • After exploring the ruins, trek back to Marampata in the afternoon.

Marampata to Capuliyoc: Descending the Andean Pathways through Chikiska
  • Early Morning Ascent:

  • Descent to the River:

    • Begin your descent towards the river, which will take approximately 2.5 hours.
    • After reaching the river, start a 1-hour ascent to the charming village of Chikiska.

  • Lunch in Chikiska:

    • Refuel with a delicious lunch in Chikiska to replenish your energy.

  • Continue Upward Trek

    • Resume your trek with a 3-hour upward hike towards the Capuliyoc viewpoint.

  • Capuliyoc Viewpoint:

    • Arrive at the stunning Capuliyoc viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking vistas.

  • Dinner and Campfire:

    • Indulge in a delectable dinner and relax by a cozy campfire at Capuliyoc.

HOW TO BOOK

FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. First select the best package for you.
  2. Fill in “Book Online” FORM, select the date, and complete the booking information. Have one person fill it out for the entire group to ensure you’re booked together.
  3. Make a payment online using any debit or credit card, Our system will charge you 40% in advance of the total number of passengers.
  4. When you complete your payment, you will receive an email from our reservations staff, who will ask you for the following information for each passengers (by email and photo).

Optional: You can pay the full tour amount upfront to avoid any future payment concerns.

The remaining BALANCE is due 48 hours before the tour begins. You can pay in CASH (soles or dollars) or CREDIT CARD (+ 5 %) at the office in Cusco or in your hotel/hostal/apartament.
